West Buckland Farm Barns

The existing barns formed a part of West Buckland Farm which is part of the extensive Evans Estates.  They are visually attractive, but have been unused for many years. Occasional ad hoc uses have occurred over a period.

The site lies in a predominantly residential area even to the extent that the Chapel premises adjoining West Buckland barns has been converted to residential use.  The proposal is to convert these barns into leisure use.

In order to achieve a total improvement to the immediate West Buckland Farm area the existing inappropriate modern agricultural buildings are being removed and the area of yard slightly reorganised to encompass the farmhouse entrance and provide visually concealed parking for vehicles and other holiday based paraphernalia.
