Grenville Meadows, Lostwithiel

The practice was commissioned at Christmas 1997 to achieve a site start in April 1998, with the first phase completions from September 1998. The client’s brief was to relate the new house designs to the indigenous features prevalent in Lostwithiel, where the development is to be built. This responsible approach to design was endorsed by the Planning Committee Observations. The design of the development accommodates a small number of house types to which a variety of design treatments can be incorporated to create individual residences.

Awards

Plot 13 achieved the National Home Builder 2000 Award.
