The scheme which has been prepared in outline form provides for a genuinely mixed form of development that is
intended to provide housing and employment uses on the same site. The housing units total 131 of
which 50% will be in the affordable category, with the intention being to address the issue of key worker
housing for the local community. The northern boundary of the site is to be reinforced by a major
planting belt, and the remainder of the periphery will also be strengthened by hedgerow planting.
